Catch Up!

Catch me if you can! I feel like I am running and not getting anywhere fast. I am behind on uploading pictures so I decided I could blog a bit without pictures just for an update. Bryce & Kade are both doing wonderful! We had to take Bryce to the hospital Thursday night. He had 2 mosquito bites side by side on his head and they just kept swelling and swelling. I am going to post a picture of it so you guys can see how bad it looked. Of course, being a mom, I couldn't put him down to sleep looking like that. Every possible bad thought went through my mind and I finally gave up and took him to the emergency room just to hear, "he'll be alright". Of course, this is just what they told me, but at least I was able to sleep soundly! Both boys have learned how to jump over the last few days, so now we jump everywhere we go and occasionally take a tumble. For some reason, Bryce has had a streak of bad luck. On the same side as the mosquito bites, he also fell walking home from the park the other night and hit his head on the asfault. I will post a picture of this too. At least this didn't require an emergency room visit. Both boys have also learned how to say "no" but the funny thing is that they never just say it one time. It's always "no, no". They are pros at telling each other "no, no" especially after mommy or daddy corrects them. They have to help discipline the other one. So far they haven't told us "no, no", but I am sure that is not too far from happening. They have both had really good luck when it comes to catching pink eye! Mommy had an awesome case of pink eye last week. Of course, I didn't know what it was. I just thought I had somehow irritated it so when I woke up the next morning, it was swollen shut. Luckly the boys nor Jason have contracted it and I am hoping and praying that they don't. I am all better now, but that certainly was a first for me. I have never been sent home from work feeling just fine with a swollen pink eye. It would have been okay, but I couldn't spend any of that time with my boys for fear of spreading it to them. So, needless to say, it has been an eventful few days. None-the-less, we are all healthy and happy and definately blessed! :-)

What and bumpy week you've had (get my ironic humor?).

Pink eye is no fun. Both Elizabeth and Micah had it last March. Micah had it the worst and looked bad. The doc said that Curtis and I were lucky that we didn't catch it since it's no fun as an adult. Bummer for you! But I'm glad all your boys were good.

And I love the pics with the boys loving on each other. Awwwww!
